Idaho Cooperatives Council Cenarrusa FFA Day on the Hill
The ICC Cenarrusa FFA Day on the Hill is an annual legislative event for Idaho FFA members and the state's senators and representatives. Day on the Hill first started in 1981. The event is named for former Idaho Secretary of State Pete Cenarrusa. Mr. Cenarrusa served in the Idaho House of Representatives from 1950-1966 and as the Secretary of State from 1967-2002. Mr. Cenarrusa earned an agriculture degree from the University of Idaho in 1940. He oversaw the inception of agriculture education programs at Carey and Cambridge before enlisting in the Navy after Pearl Harbor. The Idaho Cooperatives Council is a major financial supporter of the event.
