This Emergency Medical Services program is the first public, college-based program in Idaho history. It is nationally recognized and offers up to an Associate of Applied Science degree. Advanced technologies have been integrated throughout the curricula to include high-fidelity human patient simulation, online hybrid course delivery options, and virtual patient encounters. EMS students have participated in national research that may impact future national curriculum. Students in this program consistently score significantly higher than the national average on the National Registry Certification exam.
