The Automotive Technology Professional-Technical school program in Meridian is a National Technician Education Foundation Certified Program in brakes, electrical and electronic systems, engine performance, suspension, and steering. The program features an automotive services school-based enterprise—a NAPA Auto Care Center—to serve individuals and families in the community. Students work on real vehicles in a situation that simulates industry. They diagnose, order parts, communicate with customers, and perform repairs. The program collaborates with Heritage Automotive to provide free services on Veterans’ Day, and with other industry partners to enrich the program with resources and expert assistance.
