Certification and Credentials

Idaho's policy requires that teachers of professional-technical classes or programs in secondary or postsecondary schools must hold an endorsement in an appropriate occupational discipline.  This endorsement may be held on a Secondary Teaching Credential or on an Occupational Specialist Certificate.  A detailed description of the procedure and policy for the above rule is found in the Idaho Department of Education Professional School Personnel Certification manual.
