Career Clusters

The 16 National Career Clusters:

Provide 81 career pathways with a broad array of careers in each pathway
Give opportunity for matching student interests, skills, and education requirements to careers within each cluster (Interest Survey)
Identify knowledge and skills needed for careers in each cluster
Help improve student achievement by connecting school and the workplace, making school relevant for students
Give structure for sequences of courses (Programs of Study) from high school to college and/or the workplace
