Programs of Study (POS)

A Program of Study is an educational plan that provides a sequence of instruction for career preparation. Programs of Study are organized around a pathway within a Career Cluster.

A POS includes:

a recommended sequence of technical and academic courses, high school through college

activities including work-based, service and co-curricular activities

There are 81 pathways within the 16 National Clusters. Idaho has developed Programs of Study for 59 of those pathways based on the course offerings in the Professional-Technical (PTE)Programs in Idaho. To view these PTE-oriented Programs of Study for Idaho, click here.
