  • In the past ten years, high school enrollment in Professional-Technical education increased 39% while general enrollment increased eight percent.

  • Students in PTE's Tech Prep programs earn college credit for high school classes. Tech Prep credits earned in 2006 equaled a cost savings of $1,838,109 for Idaho students.

  • In 2006, Idaho technical colleges assisted 46,500 adult Idahoans in improving their job skills. Of those, 34,000 were in short-term training and 12,400 were enrolled in Fire Service and Hazardous Materials training.
