ADVISORY COMMITTEES
One of the most important tasks in starting a Construction Program is the selection of your Advisory Committee. Your industry survey will help you determine interested construction leaders. It is critical that those selected are recognized as leaders in the industry who are willing to give your district their best efforts. It is not important that you know them personally; actually it might be better if you don't know them.
The Construction Program Advisory Committee should limit their activities to those functions related to their specific career path or occupational field. Each Committee's major activity is to counsel and advise the school and its faculty in the identification, development, and operation of the instructional program supporting the Construction Program.
