CONSTRUCTION PROGRAM COMMUNICATION PLAN

The Construction Program should embark upon a communication plan to increase the awareness of the program.  The goal of the communication plan will be the “promotion” of the Construction Program to parents, students, counselors, and local business.  For over four decades, Idahoans have looked at technical education as a poor second choice for students.  The Communication Plan will implement activities that address the value and opportunities that professional technical education has to offer.

Due to the unique collaborative relationship between schools and community, the lines between internal and external audiences are blurred.  This communication plan should represent a true mixture of outside and inside participation and support.
