OFFERING CONSTRUCTION PROGRAMS

It is always a good idea to visit, or at least contact, several current operating Construction Programs as you are doing your investigating of a possible program startup.  As you visit several high school programs try to pick ones that use different instructional strategies to educate their students.  These visits might consist of a team composing of an industry leader, counselor, and administrator as each member will be seeing things somewhat differently.

Also, visit at least one college Construction Program in the state.  This will give you a great way to understand the difference in Construction Programs and an excellent start toward developing relationships for articulation purposes.
