APPLICATION TO BECOME A NEW PROGRAM

New technical programs are always an exciting event for the school district as well as the State of Idaho.  The Division of Professional-Technical Education has a straight forward process to apply to be a new program. 

The first step is the "Notice of Intent for New PTE Programs."  The form is available on their website www.pte.state.id.us and must be completed by December 15 for the following fall semester.  The State Department can provide technical assistance if you wish.

The next step is the completion of the "10N Application for New Programs."  This is also available on the PTE website.  NOTE:  This must be completed and submitted by February 15th.

Several other forms 10A, Statement of Assurances (10C), Program Budget Request (10F), and narrative for each program.  These forms constitute the local District's request for state professional-technical funding for the next year.   All must be completed and submitted by February 15th.
