Skilled and Technical Sciences (STS) 
Skilled and Technical Sciences (STS) programs mirror the technologies of today’s industries by using advanced concepts and functions in an educational environment. These programs use state-of-the-art equipment and typically lead to industry certifications.
STS high school education programs include: automated manufacturing, automotive technology, broadcasting, carpentry, cabinetmaking, collision repair, diesel technology, drafting, electronics, environmental technology, graphic communications, journalism, law enforcement, photography, precision machining, small engine repair, home technology integration, industrial mechanics, masonry, and welding.

Accepting applications for the 2010 awards.
Are you an educator with a class project that is short on funding but long on potential? Each year, 100 educators are selected to receive $2000 to help fund their innovative class projects. Three of those are chosen to receive the top awards of an additional $5,000, $10,000, and $25,000.
