State Training

State employee training is provided across the state under the direction of the Division of Professional-Technical Education and through Idaho's technical colleges. The technical colleges are BSU (Boise), CSI (Twin Falls), CWI (Nampa), EITC (Idaho Falls), ISU (Pocatello), LCSC (Lewiston), and NIC (Coeur d’Alene). Check the statewide calendar for current training opportunities.  For information about your agency’s internal training policies and required authorization, contact your agency Human Resource Office. The Division of Professional-Technical Education (PTE) provides additional employee training through a nationally accredited Certified Public Manager Program and access to statewide Supervisory Development (Applied Leadership). PTE also provides a comprehensive Online Performance Management Program and a State Employee Wellness Program.
