Professional Development Opportunity: Leadership Institute
The Leadership Institute prepares the next generation of district and state professional-technical leaders. It is designed to produce forward-thinking and change-oriented leaders through a 27-month program of study. Applications are being accepted through May 22nd.
Scholarship for Teachers
The Professional-Technical Education Foundation 'Return to Industry or Business' Scholarship provides a minimum of $500 for PTE teachers to participate in training that will update their skills in a business or industry related to their teaching assignment. The skills learned through the industry experience must be applicable to teaching in the classroom or lab. Applications are due by April 15th, 2008.
