Roaring Springs Water Park & Boondock's Fun Center

State of Idaho employees and their families can save $6 off a full day Roaring Springs or Boondock's admission...or save $4 off the new 'Twice the Fun' full day Combo Ticket.  Discount tickets can only be purchased online.  Purchase Boondocks tickets on their website; purchase Roaring Springs Tickets on their website; combo tickets on either website.  Both facilities are located in Meridian.  Check here for information on how to purhcase tickets.  Questions - call 208-884-8842 or email info@roaringsprings.com.

Starlight Mountain Theatre

State of Idaho Employees may purchase discounted theatre tickets to Starlight Mountain Theatre, located between Crouch and Garden Valley, Idaho.  Phone 208-342-2187 or 208-462-5523 for discount ticket information; you need to request the State Employee Discount when you call.  Discounted tickets cannot be purchased from IC Tickets or on the web site.  Check the Starlight Mountain Theatre web site for show information, dinner theatre nights, directions, and much more.

Boise Hawks Baseball

The Boise Hawks baseball team invites State of Idaho employees and their friends and families out on July 16, 2008, for a night of fun and baseball! The first pitch is scheduled for 7:15 p.m.; gates open at 6:30.  To purchase discount tickets insert the number of tickets you wish to purchase in the “State of Idaho Employees” box.  Do not use the “Individual” box.  Enter the password: idaho1891 (case sensitive).  The stadium is located at 5600 Glenwood Street in Garden City.  Questions?  Contact Andy with Boise Hawks Baseball at 208-322-5000, ext.106. 

Boise Burn Arena Football

If you've never experienced arena league football, come see the Boise Burn - they feature high scoring, fiery action, 'burning' football. It's a fun way to experience football played on a 50 yard field.   State of Idaho employees may purchase discounted tickets online to the July 12, 2008 game.  Login: STATEOFID (all caps); Password: EMPLOYEE (all caps).  All games are played in Boise at the Qwest Arena.  Questions – call or email Ivan at ibasquill@idahosteelheads.com or call 208-472-2115.

Thunder Mountain Line

Board the Thunder Mountain Line in Horseshoe Bend!  State of Idaho Employees will receive a $3.00 per person discount on any train excursion, based on availability. Visit The Thunder Mountain Line for additional information.  To make reservations, call 1-877-IDA RAIL or (208)331-1184, or email your reservation request to reservations@thundermountainline.com. You must identify yourself as a State of Idaho Employee.  A business card or id is necessary upon check-in.   Ask about 'themed' train rides.  The Thunder Mountain Line train rides offer amazing scenery as they wind along the beautiful Payette River sometimes following the same trails as the early settlers; you may even catch a glimpse of wildlife!
